Caramel Apple Cupcakes

Think back through your childhood memories of fall and Halloween, and I'm sure that somewhere in there, you remember biting into a sticky, sweet caramel apple.  The bliss of eating one is replicated here with a cupcake.

The cupcake has a mixture of fresh apples, frosted with a brown sugar icing, topped with a caramel glaze and a variety of sprinkles.  Pecans, candy corn, and Halloween sprinkles top these cupcakes.  Don't let the stick fool you, you'll need a fork to eat these gooey yet yummy treats!

Pumpkin Pie Cake

Don't you just love fall and all the tastes it brings?  One of the most popular flavors this time of year is pumpkin.  And with Thanksgiving soon approaching, pumpkin pie is an American tradition.

This year, let's shake it up a bit and instead of the usual pumpkin pie with a dollop of Cool Whip, why not serve a Pumpkin Pie Cake topped with either a cinnamon buttercream or cream cheese frosting?

Here is the Pumpkin Pie Cake in three different styles:

Eight inch round, two layers, topped and filled with cinnamon buttercream.

Six inch round, two layers, topped with cream cheese frosting and filling.

Nine by thirteen inch sheet cake, single layer, topped with cream cheese frosting.  This cake was made for Pastor's Appreciation Month, in honor of Pastor Mark Hecht, Light and Life Free Methodist Church, and his wife, June.

Rootbeer cake with vanilla buttercream

This two-tier rootbeer cake was frosted with vanilla buttercream. The oval shape of the cake is great for more formal get togethers as well as weddings.

Irish Cream Cake

Wanting a decadent dessert for your next get together? Look no further! This is a three-layer 8" round Irish Cream cake frosted with Irish Cream buttercream. Decorated with fondant cutouts using my Cricut Cake tool.

Chocolate Kahlua Cake

This is a two layer 8" round chocolate Kahlua cake using my new Cricut Cake to make the decorations.  Frosted with a mocha buttercream.  This was a lot of fun to make!  And it tastes heavenly.  You can have this cake with either using actual Kahlua, or if you prefer it to not have alcohol in it, I can make it using espresso powder instead and it is just as yummy.  This also makes a great bundt cake with a simple Kahlua glaze.
